Rain, Rain Go Away!

Seriously, all this rain has put a major damper on my training schedule! Ok, to be honest I love any excuse to not workout so I am love/hating this rainy weather. Let me give you a little synopsis of my first week of training so far:
Monday: rest (I nailed that one!)
Tuesday: run 3 miles. I decided to go to yoga sculpt instead (even trade, I think!) Doing good so far!
Wednesday: run 3 miles. I decided I had worked hard at yoga sculpt and needed another day of rest! (This is where it begins to go downhill...)
Thursday: run 3 miles. No excuse... I just didn't do anything! (See I told you!)
Friday: Rest day... nailed that one of course!
Saturday: run 6 miles. Finally, at 5:00 PM after watching a movie with some extremely skinny girls in it, I decided to go down to our gym and run! (Success!!)
So now tomorrow (Sunday) I am suppose to cross train, which means ride my bike 6 miles. Please send me some words of encouragement. As you can see, laziness often gets the better of me!

Pain is NOT temporary

Well, Sean and I did 5 miles today and suffice to say it was not my best run... Its amazing what 2 weeks of sitting on the couch and eating girl scout cookies can do to your stamina! I swear I really just ran and half marathon! We were passed by multiple people, and at one point Sean started running backwards. Its going to be a long hard summer, and running buddies will be more than welcome! Here is the link to my training schedule if you are interested... and since I have 2 followers that's Sean and Sandy = ( Marathon Training Schedule
Yes, it does say Novice...

God Makes No Mistakes...We Were Born This Way

Running into Trouble

Rewind to 10/10/10... I was cursing everyone crazy enough to run a marathon on my wedding day.  One year later..... I am soliciting for money so I can run 26.2 miles!! Crazy, I know! But, I figure if I can kick my butt into gear and raise some money for a good cause, well what have I got to lose! Also, as my husband loves to point out, I enjoy laying around more than most.... so if I can do this... anyone can!

So here's the deal: I am going to be blogging about my marathon training as well as raising money for Autism research! I hope you all visit and donate often! Thanks for your support!!
